Telly Award-Winning Multimedia Creator Daniel Corey Creates Surreal Visual Journey for Gabriel’s Beloved Song
LOS ANGELES, CA—Telly Award-winning multimedia artist Daniel Corey has created the new official music video for Peter Gabriel’s Secret World, out now on Gabriel’s official YouTube channel and website.
Originally the closing track from Gabriel’s 1992 album Us, Secret World has long been a fan favorite and served as the namesake of Gabriel’s celebrated Secret World Live tour. The song, produced by longtime Gabriel collaborator Daniel Lanois, is reimagined as a cinematic piece shaped by Corey’s signature blend of storytelling and AI-powered art.

Gabriel’s team invited Corey to select a track from the artist’s catalog, and Secret World was his immediate choice. “It’s one of my all-time favorite tracks—haunting, intimate, expansive,” said Corey. “My goal was to visually reflect that emotional landscape while honoring the spirit of Peter’s original vision.”

Telling the history of a forgotten alien world, the video’s imagery was created using AI systems trained on Corey’s own photography and enriched with real-world textures, architecture, and organic forms. The visuals were then brought to life using Luma AI’s Dream Machine, which added dynamic motion and surreal fluidity to the imagery, creating a dreamlike sense of passage through memory and myth.

Secret World marks Corey’s first official project for Peter Gabriel, whose legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians and visual artists alike.
