While at Winter NAMM 2020, I had the pleasure of meeting Tara Low, editor of Guitar Girl Magazine. Musical Maven and Batfarm Baddie Alexx Calise was busy interviewing at the Guitar World booth, and took a minute between shoots to introduce us. I was immediately given several assignments, one of which was to cover EarthQuaker Devices.
In this video, I chat with Corey Haren for Guitar Girl Magazine. Corey is Quality Control for EarthQuaker, and an all-around excellent human. We had a great conversation, and we celebrated a bit over our common names.

Fast-forward to this past Saturday: Alexx and I were hanging out again, checking out some local music shops. First, we spent some time at Keyboard Galleria Music Center, where she was helping cover a shift. We contemplated starting our own band, the lineup of which would consist of Alexx on drums and myself on sassy attitude.

We made a stop at Amp Shop Bass Exchange in North Hollywood, where they have a beautiful collection of gear, and even make their own line of guitars, dubbed Woodcraft.

featuring a T-style body and multi-scale neck!
Among their collection was an excellent selection of EarthQuaker pedals.

Check out my interview with EarthQuaker’s Corey Haren, and if you’re local to NoHo, go to Amp Shop Bass Exchange on Lankershim and demo one of their Woodcraft guitars paired with an EarthQuaker pedal! And if you’re not local, check your listings, go to the nearest guitar shop and rock some EarthQuaker Devices!

Check out Guitar Girl’s homepage and connect to their socials.
Visit EarthQuaker Devices and connect with them.
Happy music-making, DangerKatts!
